A PUF panel (Polyurethane Foam panel), also called a PUFF panel or sandwich panel, has two metal skins with a rigid polyurethane/PIR foam core. It offers excellent thermal insulation (λ=0.021 W/mK), is fire-retardant, CFC-free, and widely used for cold storage, cold rooms, cleanrooms, warehouses and industrial buildings.
For cold storage and cold rooms, 80mm–150mm PUF sandwich panels are standard. For deep freeze below -18°C, 120mm–150mm is recommended. ESSARFAB supplies panels from 30mm to 150mm for all cold room applications.
